Wow, its been a long time since I updated this page! I really don't work on my kits
all that often anymore, and saying that I do want to add that I currently have
two boxes open and work on them a few hours every other month or so.
Even though I don't have much time to work on my kits anymore I love
taking questions and recieving links to other sites and the like. So
many thanks to those who do contact me, as you guys know I always reply!
I did try to submit a kit for the Anime Expo 2001 modeling contest but they told me they were not accepting
walk-ins this year! WTF!? I walked up w/my kit on 12:30pm Thursday, first day of the con, and was denied...
huuuge bummer. :'(
I have not made any new purchases recently but I would like to get a Bandai MG DOM kit, and
a few of those Hasegawa Valkyrie kits. Send me pics or links of these kits and I'll add them
to my site, as I could use some inspiration!
Finally, I'm going to update this page every so often with recent model or
hobby site/links I've come across (Yes, in addition to the main links page).
One link that I've came across very recently:
Camp Volt5, giant robos are the best!

I gave Tamiya Aqueous Paint a try to today for the first time. Impressive. I bought
two paints bottles and a bottle of thinner. I mixed the paint with the thinner at
about a 3:1 ratio of thinner:paint. It went on really smooth and dried very quickly.
I'm now scratching my head, "Why didn't I give this brand a try sooner and
no wonder I always see it used in Hobby Japan." Anyhow, If you have an airbrush
to paint your kits I definately reccommend you give this brand a try.

Anime Expo '99 purchases.
- 1/144 Turn A Gundam from Bandai - I like the design, 'cept fot the mustache.
- 1/35 Gasaraki Kit from Bandai - the blue Shinden.
- Brain Powerd Suit from Bandai - the tan one.
- Nausicaä Kit - Nausicaä riding Kai.
As you can see I purchased 4 not so expensive small scale kits. I'm looking
forward to getting started on them.

I recently got my hands on one of the mecha kits from the Gasaraki
anime (the Ishtar type). The $16.16 (tax inc.) I paid for it was well worth the price. The
kit is 1/35 scale and is typical Bandai workmanship.
I know of three Gasaraki kits. Two of them are molded in tan the other one
in blue. I first saw them at Hobby
Link Japan and eventually my local anime shop got two of these kits in.
I have the second release, the ISHTAR Mk- II. I went ahead and
swiped the kit images from the HLJ page and put them
up here for those interested.
