Lack of updates (12.16.2002)

First off sorry for the lack of updates to this little site. Basically, I have not done much model making the last year or so. I have a ton of unopened kits and a few that I have started on. I want to state that I have not giving up or quit with the hobby.

I walk by my kit queue a few times a week and wonder when I'll get back to that stuff, but right now I'm a little to busy with the normal life stuff, moonlighting, being a dad, playing golf, or working on my latest hobby, my car.

Its a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX. I've modded with basic bolt-ons and also compete in local auto-cross competition.




Galaxy Mech Works

This web site basically kills a few birds with one stone. I needed a personal web site, why not make it a hobby site, prove my web skills (after all I do work for one of the new fangled web-based companies), kill time. This is the second version of this web site, I grew tired of the first one for two main reasons: the black background made it too foreboding and the frames. If you would like to see the first site, here it is.


Scale Modeling

I've been at it since I was 12. I stopped for a few years until I got interested in anime. I enjoy working on model kits when I have the time. What I would really like is a hobby area where I can just leave my stuff as is - instead of pulling out all my gear each time I need to work on something.


Anime Expo Art Show Ramblings

This kit was entered in the Anime Expo '98 modeling contest. It didn't win but had a good showing regardless.

RANT - I've been to Anime Expo 8 years now and there's always a pretty small showing of anime models. The same goes again for AX '99. Btw - there was a very cool diarama of a Zaku and a Gundam going at it this year, my regards to the modeler.
